Here is lovely review posted to Weddingwire by Stephanie (the bride) from a wedding ceremony and cocktail reception at the Markham event centre on May 19, 2019.
Our experience with Duo d’Amore was outstanding. It was a last minute decision, not even 10 days before the wedding. They’ve made sure everything would be set up perfectly and gave us recommendations to help with the music selection. They created a truly magical atmosphere. This was the wedding of our dreams and they were the final touch, everyone absolutely loved them. Thank you so much !!

We received a lovely thank you card from our clients Kris and Stephanie, who were married on September 29, 2018 at a private residence on the outskirts of Kitchener-Waterloo.
"Matthew, Thank you so much for the superb musicians and music during our wedding celebrations on September 29th. By all accounts & unsolicited feedback--they were the best ever! Thanks for helping us make our day special & memorable! S&K"
It was a pleasure for our violin and cello duo to perform this wedding, and we wish Stephanie and Kris all the best for a long and happy marriage!
“Thank you Duo d'Amore for adding such a special touch to our wedding ceremony last June 16, 2018. Our guests were so amazed on how you guys played during our ceremony. The string duo was excellent and the music they played was so beautiful. Thank you Matthew for such an awesome experience, you are so accommodating of my request and very efficient in communicating. We will definitely recommend you.” Maricar, bride
It was a real pleasure communicating with Maricar for her beautiful wedding at St Catherine of Siena Church in Mississauga. She hired Duo d’Amore’s most requested ensemble (our violin and cello duo) to perform for her wedding Mass, and chose a great selection of both classical music and popular music to fit the portions of the mass. If you are reading this because you are planning a wedding, it is good to note that St Catherine of Siena Church was very accommodating to different genres of music. Some catholic Churches have a strict list of music that couple s can pick from, and in this case the bride and groom had the opportunity to add some modern flair alongside the classical pieces.

Wedding ceremony music: Duo d'Amore-string duos trios and quartets
This wedding goes on record as one of the earliest that we have performed, as Kevin and Lesley were married at 8:30 in the morning! It was also very special, as it truly felt different from any other wedding. As well the venue was amazing. The ceremony took place in the Cambridge Butterfly Conservatory, and really should be experienced to be believed. What a great choice of venue. Now, on to our specialty—the music!
The ceremony was built around Disney music, and was exceptionally well chosen to suit the different moods and timings during the wedding. We have a great arrangement of several Disney songs from seven or eight films, and each song flows seamlessly into each other. This is what greeted guests as they entered, and it certainly created a wonderful atmosphere for everyone. At the start of the ceremony, the wedding party walked in to (the very appropriate) A Whole New World, and the bride followed with Tale as Old as Time from Beauty and the Beast. At the end of the wedding ceremony everyone walked out to the Imperial March from Star Wars, to conclude this beautiful early morning wedding.

Ceremony music Kitchener/Waterloo/Cambridge: Duo d’Amore-solos, violin and cello duos, string trios and string quartets
The weather was just wonderful for this ceremony at Deer Creek Golf Course in Ajax. Early October was unseasonably warm with temperatures reaching into the high teens, and hardly a cloud in the sky. During the wedding planning process, I spoke and exchanged emails with Milani the bride, who was just lovely. She was interested in a very classic wedding ceremony with an additional song added. Because this was a Filipino wedding ceremony (which we are very familiar with) there can be a number of additional spots for music. I should also note that every Filipino wedding we have ever performed at has always been one centred on a large loving family—everyone has an amazingly good time.
