“Thank you Duo d’Amore for adding such a special touch to our wedding ceremony last June 16, 2018. Our guests were so amazed on how you guys played during our ceremony. The string duo was excellent and the music they played was so beautiful. Thank you Matthew for such an awesome experience, you are so accommodating of my request and very efficient in communicating. We will definitely recommend you.” Maricar, bride
It was a real pleasure communicating with Maricar for her beautiful wedding at St Catherine of Siena Church in Mississauga. She hired Duo d’Amore’s most requested ensemble (our violin and cello duo) to perform for her wedding Mass, and chose a great selection of both classical music and popular music to fit the portions of the mass. If you are reading this because you are planning a wedding, it is good to note that St Catherine of Siena Church was very accommodating to different genres of music. Some catholic Churches have a strict list of music that couple s can pick from, and in this case the bride and groom had the opportunity to add some modern flair alongside the classical pieces.

We love happy clients, and love getting reviews of our performances. The latest review comes from Amanda, a bride who was married at St Charles Borreomeo church in Toronto. Here is what she had to say about the performance of Duo d’Amore’s violin and cello duo:
Outstanding Performance, beautiful music!
Outstanding performance! The team played beautifully during our wedding ceremony. Very organized and very responsive to e-mails. Matthew was great to work with when coordinating with a Bag Piper that I also hired. Very happy to have hired the team! Job well done!! Thank you very much. We are so very grateful.
We love clients like Kaitlyn and Cole as they were extremely excited to have Duo d’Amore perform a fantastic selection of music at their wedding ceremony at Hockley Valley. As the guests arrived the violin and cello duet performed modern pop music, with songs including Fields of Gold, I Think I Wanna Marry you, River Flows in You and others. When the officiant, parents and groomsmen were ready, we performed You Raise Me Up, making a smooth transition into Beyonce’s Halo for the four bridesmaids. For the bride the strings performed a lovely rendition of Pachelbel Canon for a traditional touch. When the couple signed the marriage license, we moved back to pop music with Elvis’ Can’t Help Falling in Love. When the couple was pronounced man and wife and the wedding party exited, w performed Viva la Vida, to add a lovely touch to a memorable wedding ceremony!
