Wedding Ceremony Music Mississauga-Maricar’s wedding

Thank you Duo d’Amore for adding such a special touch to our wedding ceremony last June 16, 2018. Our guests were so amazed on how you guys played during our ceremony. The string duo was excellent and the music they played was so beautiful. Thank you Matthew for such an awesome experience, you are so accommodating of my request and very efficient in communicating.  We will definitely recommend you.” Maricar, bride

Timeless ceremony music

It was a real pleasure communicating with Maricar for her beautiful wedding at St Catherine of Siena Church in Mississauga. She hired Duo d’Amore’s most requested ensemble (our violin and cello duo) to perform for her wedding Mass, and chose a great selection of both classical music and popular music to fit the portions of the mass. If you are reading this because you are planning a wedding, it is good to note that St Catherine of Siena Church was very accommodating to different genres of music. Some catholic Churches have a strict list of music that couple s can pick from, and in this case the bride and groom had the opportunity to add some modern flair alongside the classical pieces.

Wedding Party: Canon in D Pachelbel

Pachelbel’s Canon in D is a popular wedding piece due to its timeless melody and beautiful harmonies. It has a serene and elegant quality that adds a touch of classical sophistication to any wedding ceremony. The piece was composed in the Baroque era and has since been interpreted and arranged by many musicians, making it a versatile choice for weddings of all styles. Its structure also allows for a gradual build-up of the music, making it a fitting background for the processional of the bride. Its lasting popularity is a testament to its enduring charm and ability to evoke a sense of timeless beauty and romance.
