Wedding Ceremony Music Ottawa-Caitlin and Rob’s wedding May 5, 2018

“We could hear the music from the bridal suite and it was stunning, and exactly as we had hoped. Numerous guests told us that the music was beautiful, and added a certain je ne sais quois to the mood. We would highly recommend Duo d’Amore. – Caitlin C.

Caitlin and Rob had a beautiful wedding ceremony and cocktail reception at the National Arts Centre on May 5th, and Duo d’Amore’s violin and cello duo were so happy to be a part of it. The music for the day was simply phenomenal! Caitlin chose quite a bit of pop music across different genres to set the mood for each part of the ceremony, with more upbeat selections during the cocktail reception. This helped to create a different feel for the cocktail portion, and our unique pop music selections certainly helped with that aspect of the day. A special mention also goes out to the wedding planner Shannon Kennedy of Kennedy Event Planning, as she did a great job as always. Back to the music! Here was the program for  both the ceremony and cocktail hour:

Prelude:

Bittersweet Symphony, Halo, Here Comes the Sun, In My Life, Wonderful Tonight

Ceremony:

Wedding Party Processional: Can’t Help Falling in Love

Bride: All You Need is Love

Recessional: Game of Thrones Theme

Cocktail Reception:

A Thousand Years, Call Me Maybe, I Got A Feeling, At Last, Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Only Time, Sweet Child of Mine
