We were quite exited to perform for this wedding ceremony at the very popular Pavilion at Rockcliffe Park. This wedding ceremony perfectly evoked the new attitude to wedding ceremony music, not just in Ottawa, but across the country. Because of the more inclusive and related rules of Churches and in this case officiant, brides and grooms can choose from a much wider ranger of music, to reflect not only the occasion or event, but themselves as a couple.
This wedding began in with very traditional music: Pachelbel canon for the bridesmaids, and attendants, followed by Wagner’s Bridal Chorus (here comes the bride). From the signing onwards, the theme shifted to a modern outlook, with A Thousand Years by Christina Perry and Viva la Vida by Coldplay, with many great and enthusiastic comments from the guests.
