Our string trio (two violins and cello) was hired to perform for a corporate reception on February 28th 2019, for a corporate customer reception at the Westin Ottawa. The event was held at Daly’s on the third floor, and we were happy to perform for the guests. Most guests were between the ages of 25-65, and we created an interesting and fun playlist of upbeat pop as well as classical music.
Oxford properties has booked our violin and cello duo to perform for the opening of new headquarters for the RBC, called WaterPark Place, located at Bay and Queens Quay in Toronto. Our string duo will be performing from 7:30-9:30am on the following dates:

It is quite an honor to perform for Canada’s largest bank, and in such an innovative building, at it may become the first LEED certified Toronto office tower. The building not only uses deep lake water-cooling and air circulation, but also combines window glazing, and cutting edge plumbing.

Yesterday evening, Duo d’Amore performed at Luxinside, a French art exhibition showcasing a number of luxury products coming to Holt Renfrew, and displayed with a cool, and modern aesthetic. Our musicians performed a wide variety of interesting music for the guests, which included the president of Hot Renfrew (who had very nice things to say about our performance) as well as delegates from the French Embassy.

We really enjoy performing for corporate events, and it’s always an added perk when the venue itself is interesting. This event was in the Mammals Gallery which is pretty spectacular.
Duo d’Amore was hired to provide live background entertainment for around 40 guests, during a reception. Our violinist Emily and cellist Lydia had a wonderful time entertaining the guests with a selection of classical and contemporary music. Here is what the client said after I followed up with him:
