Krista and Tristan’s wedding ceremony at Hauser Hall, September 28, 2013, violin and cello duo, Heidelberg ON

This wedding took place just outside of Waterloo, in the small town of Heidelberg. The venue is the Hauser Hall, and it is the perfect venue for more intimate weddings and events with around 100 or so guests. For this ceremony we performed a mixture of classical and pop music, with slightly more pop music than classical, and the guests really enjoyed our performance. As guests we arriving and being seated, we performed mostly light classical music, a s we find that this sets a calming mod, and as the music is on the quiet side, guests have the opportunity to get settled and converse with one another in a pleasant atmosphere, At the start of the ceremony we performed Mouret Rondeau, which immediately adds a very stately presence and is the perfect signal that the wedding has officially started. The next point in the wedding ceremony where the violin and cello duo performs it typically during the signing. As this is a great time for reflection, not to mention photos, the music for this part of the wedding is a bit quieter, and the couple chose Everlong by the Foo Fighters. After the quiet music during the signing we switched to something loud, and exciting for the recessional, and ended with the popular Here Comes The Sun by the Beatles.
