Wedding String Trio Vancouver: Jennifer and Christopher

It’s always nice to be surprised by your clients, and this wedding, we were very surprised and excited by the choice of music, and the overall professionalism and coordination on the day of the wedding. In discussing the ceremony music with Jennifer and Christopher, they came up with several interesting choices for the prelude as the guests were chatting and taking their seat before the start of the ceremony, and for the ceremony itself. The music ranged from the baroque period with an arrangement of the theme from the Goldberg Variations originally written for keyboard, and moved dramatically (thoughwith a lot of style) to Mark O’Connor’s Appalachia Waltz for the bride’s processional. The signing music was the famous and romantic Intermezzo from the opera Cavalleria Rusticana by the Italian composer Mascagni. As the bride and groom exited our string players performed the minuet from Boccherini’s Quintet in D.

Prelude:

Saint-Saens The Swan (solo cello)
Bach's Air on G String
Eine Kleine - mvt 2
