Our string ensembles work hard to play for many events in Ottawa, and apart from a few venues just outside the city, the Museum of Nature is among the nicest venues for a beautiful wedding ceremony. This ceremony was being held on the second floor of the Museum the Queen’s lantern room, and was classic from start to finish. For the processional our violin and cello duo performed Pachelbel’s Canon in D, leading onto a soft and contemplative rendition of Bach’s Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring as the license was being signed, and ending on a joyful note with Charpentier Prelude from Te Deum.
