This was such a beautiful wedding, held at the Arta Gallery in the distillery district. Our violinist and cellist have performed here in the past, and there is something so captivating about this place, as it seems to be on the one hand frozen in time, and on the other resolutely in the here and now. The ceremony itself was wonderful, as were the acoustics—because of the high ceilings and the exposed brick the sound is well defined and full. The strings really bloom in the space and it’s perfect for a wedding. Below is the ceremony music program with the couples choices:
Guest Arrival: Coldplay, Fix You (plus other pop)
Processional: Bach Air on the G String
Bride’s Entrance: Pachelbel Canon in D
Signing: Christina Perri: A Thousand Years
Recessional: Mendelssohn Wedding March
Photo and Photo credit: Stacey Kinkaid
Ceremony music Toronto: Duo d’Amore-solos, violin and cello duos, string trios and string quartets
