Wedding string quartet Toronto: Gary and Adora's wedding March 31, 2018, Tyndale University Chapel

"It was a pleasure working with you. Your team was amazing" Adora and Gary

What a beautiful wedding and look at the gorgeous Church! We had  a great time working with Gary and Adora to plan the ceremony music, and were able to come up with a unique playlist of songs that represented exactly the way they felt about each other and about the wedding day as a whole. Asyou can see from the following playlist, the string quartet performed a mix of classical music, and more modern music. As our largest ensemble performing in such a beautiful, large and resonant space of Tyndale Chapel University Church was ideal, and they we able to fill the Church with the full, nuanced sound of the string quartet!

Processional:

1. Bridesmaids -- Pachelbel Canon in D

2. Bride -- Can't help falling in Love - Elvis Presley

Signing:

1. Hallelujah

2. You Raise Me Up - Josh Groban

- Mendelssohn Wedding March

Exit:

- Tale as old as time (Beauty and the Beast)

Hanna + Azhar’s wedding ceremony and cocktail reception at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club, May 23, 2015, violin and cello duo, Toronto wedding musicians

This wedding took place at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club, on Toronto Island, and Duo d’Amore was excited and honoured to be a part of such a beautiful day. To add to the beauty and seamlessness the event was flawlessly planned by Shealyn Angus of Bliss Events (whom we work with as often and possible). From the musical side of things, which is of course our specialty, we had the opportunity to work with the bride in choosing the music for the ceremony:

Bridesmaids Processional: Bach Air

Bride: A Thousand Years

Signing: Bach Jesu Joy of Mans Desiring

Recessional: Beautiful Day

Theses selections work really well together, as the classical selections played and compared and contrasted with the more modern songs, to give the whole ceremony an air of tradition, complemented by a more modern sound. After the ceremony, the string duet gracefully switched locations to where the cocktail reception was taking place, and continued to play. Just before their departure, the bride thanked them for a great job.

Thanks Officiant, Sarah Bunnett-Gibson for such a kind review of Duo d'Amore:

"A pleasure for me as a wedding officiant to highly recommend this duo of talented, caring musicians. I often work with them. I always expect that they will again bring an aura of smooth sailing, calm and beauty to any wedding day. You can count on them to be personable - they will go the extra mile and play heavenly music at your wedding. Warmly recommending Duo d'Amore."
